I led the design of Converse's career platform to attract creative talent through a digital experience rooted in the brand's heritage. Working at the intersection of brand storytelling and systems thinking, I brought an analog sensibility to web design: retro textures and tactile elements layered within a structured design system. The result felt true to the Converse ethos while maintaining clean UX.

The existing career site needed stronger alignment with Converse's brand identity and improved user experience. The goal was to create a cohesive employer brand that would resonate with their target talent pool while maintaining flexibility for future growth.

The Challenge

I built a comprehensive design system that established visual language, interaction patterns, and motion principles for the platform. Drawing from Converse's expressive heritage, I developed an approach that balanced bold, human visual cues with modern UX standards.

My work included conceptual explorations, custom animated iconography, and motion studies. I created an interactive timeline feature that wove together brand history and narrative through movement and storytelling.

I led end-to-end design, translating brand identity into scalable UI/UX standards and accessible interaction patterns. Working with strategists, copywriters, and developers, I presented to stakeholders and refined solutions to meet creative and business objectives.

The Approach

The platform launched as an immersive digital experience that honored Converse's legacy while pointing toward its future. It created a seamless connection between brand heritage and employer positioning that resonated with the target talent audience.
